Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-10-17

1. What this site is

Freedoom Park lets you play the open-source Freedoom game (BSD 3-Clause) using the open-source Dwasm engine (GPL-2.0) in your browser. The full license texts and source links are on our credits page.

2. Acceptable use

Play as much as you like, for free. Don't abuse the service (automated hammering of our asset files, attempts to break the site) — it ruins it for everyone.

3. Daily challenge fairness

Daily results are self-timed and stored on your own device; there is no global anti-cheat. Play fair — the streak is between you and your conscience.

4. No warranty

The game and site are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Old-school shooters involve flashing imagery — take breaks.

5. Trademarks

Freedoom is a project of the Freedoom Project contributors. This site is not affiliated with id Software, Bethesda, or any DOOM trademark holder. “DOOM-like” is used descriptively.
